RoundSorted is run by PT Digital Limited (registered in Scotland), company number SC903532, registered office 48 West George Street, Office 2/3, Glasgow, G2 1BP. We try hard to make our tools and guides accurate and useful, but they have limits. This page explains them in plain English.

Route planner: distances and times are estimates

• Routes, distances and driving times in our free route planner and in RoundSorted are worked out automatically from map data. Road data comes from OpenStreetMap and routes are calculated with OSRM; postcodes are looked up with postcodes.io.
• They're estimates. They don't account for live traffic, roadworks, closures, weather or the time you spend at each stop.
• They don't know about your vehicle. Always check for road restrictions, low bridges, weight and width limits, and access rules for your vehicle size.
• Follow road signs and the law over any suggested route, and drive safely. Set up your route before you set off and never hold or use your phone while driving — it's illegal, including when you're stopped in traffic.

Calculators and templates are illustrations

Our delivery cost calculator, round pricing calculator and templates are there to help you think through your numbers and get organised. Their results are only as good as the figures you put in, and any examples are illustrations. They're not financial, tax or accounting advice. Check important decisions with an accountant or adviser.

Guides are general information

Our guides are general information for small UK businesses. They're not legal, tax, food-safety, health-and-safety or financial advice, and they can't cover every situation. Rules change and can differ between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Where we mention a rule, we link to the official source we checked; always read the current version on gov.uk (or the relevant official site), check with your local council, or speak to a qualified adviser before relying on it.

Where guides mention other companies' products or prices, that's what their own websites said when we checked. Prices and features change, so check with the company.

Your business, your data, your invoices

If you use RoundSorted to run your business, you're responsible for the information you put in, your customers' data, your prices, the invoices you send (including whether VAT applies) and your dealings with your customers. Our terms of service and privacy notice explain how this works, including how we handle your customers' data on your behalf.

No endorsement

RoundSorted works with or links to other services, such as Google Maps for directions and Stripe for card payments. We're not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with Google, Stripe, OpenStreetMap or any other company we mention, and their names and trademarks belong to them. Links to other websites are for convenience; we're not responsible for their content.
