Delivery schedule templates
Three simple sheets for running regular delivery rounds on paper or in a spreadsheet: a weekly delivery schedule, a standing order sheet and a daily load list. Download them as CSV or print them.
Weekly delivery schedule
One row per customer, one column per day. Write what each customer gets on each day of the week.
Columns: Customer, Address, Postcode, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun, Notes
Standing order sheet
Every customer's regular order in one list: what, how many, which days and how often.
Columns: Customer, Address, Postcode, Phone, Product, Qty, Days, Every (weeks), Start date, Paused until, Notes
Daily load list and run sheet
Totals to load for the day, then each drop in order with a box to tick when it's done.
Columns: Stop, Customer, Postcode, Items, Done, Notes
How to use them together
- Standing order sheet — your master list. One row per customer per product, with the days they have it.
- Weekly delivery schedule — the same orders laid out by day, so you can see the shape of your week at a glance.
- Daily load list — each morning, copy today's drops across, add up what to load, and put the stops in order (the free route planner does that bit for you).
When a spreadsheet stops working
A spreadsheet is a fine place to start. It tends to creak when:
- Changes come in by text and WhatsApp. “Can I get two extra on Friday?” has to be copied into the right cell, by the right person, before the bake.
- Holidays and skips pile up. Pausing a customer for a fortnight means remembering to put them back.
- Every-few-weeks customers. A water cooler every three weeks or a window clean every four doesn't fit a Monday-to-Sunday grid.
- A second van or driver joins. Now two people need the same up-to-date list, on their phones.
- Invoicing takes an evening. Working out who had what this month, minus the skips, plus the extras, is where the mistakes creep in.
That's the point where RoundSorted helps: customers and standing orders in one place, each day's run sheet and load list worked out for you, the route on your driver's phone and invoices built from what was actually delivered.
Template questions
Will these open in Excel and Google Sheets?
Yes. They're CSV files, which open in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers and LibreOffice. Save a copy in your spreadsheet's own format once you've opened it.
Can I print them?
Yes — each template has a printable version with blank rows, set up for A4. Use it as a clipboard sheet in the van.
Are they really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no email address needed.
Can I import my spreadsheet into RoundSorted later?
Keeping one row per customer with a full address and postcode, as these templates do, makes moving into any system much easier. Talk to us if you'd like help bringing your list across.
