Looking at Routific? How RoundSorted compares

Routific is a route optimisation and delivery tool. RoundSorted is a different kind of product: it keeps your regular customers and their standing orders, then builds each day's run sheet, load list, route and invoices. Here's an honest side-by-side so you can pick the right one, or use both.

Who Routific is great for

Routific is built to do one job very well: take a list of orders and turn it into fast, workable routes for one or many drivers. If that's the hard part of your day, it's a strong choice.

  • Serious route optimisation. Its pricing page says routes are optimised "with time windows, capacities and driver shifts", which matters when customers give you delivery slots or vans fill up.
  • Pay for orders, not drivers. Pricing is by the number of orders you schedule each month, with unlimited drivers and dispatchers. That suits businesses with part-time drivers or a busy few days a week.
  • A generous free plan. Up to 100 orders a month free, with every feature except SMS notifications.
  • Tracking and customer updates. A driver mobile app, real-time GPS tracking, a delivery tracker for customers, email notifications (SMS as a paid add-on) and proof of delivery are all listed on every plan.
  • Connections. Two-way Shopify integration, plus Zapier, an API, webhooks and AI agents via MCP. If your orders already arrive through an online shop, they can flow straight in.

Routific's site says it is used by food businesses "from single-van farms to multi-city logistics operations across North America and Europe". If you're planning different addresses every day, delivering to time windows, or running several vans with capacity limits, it's well worth a trial.

When RoundSorted fits better, and when it doesn't

The two products start from different places. Routific starts from a batch of orders and finds the best way to deliver them. RoundSorted starts from your customers and what each of them has every week, and works out who gets what today, how much to load, the order to drive it in, and what to invoice afterwards.

RoundSorted is likely to suit you better if most of these are true:

  • You run 1 to 5 vans, and most drops are the same regular customers each week: cafés taking bread every weekday, offices on a fortnightly water round, households on a Friday veg box.
  • Your orders live in a notebook, WhatsApp or a spreadsheet, not an online shop, and you'd like customers to change their own orders before a cut-off instead of texting you at 10pm.
  • You need a load list each morning as much as you need a route.
  • You want invoices made from what was actually delivered, and paid by card, in the same place.
  • You'd prefer a fixed monthly price in pounds: £29 for one van or £59 for up to five, rather than a per-order price.

Routific is likely to suit you better if your addresses change every day, you deliver to tight time windows, you need van capacity taken into account, or your orders already come from Shopify. Some businesses could use both: RoundSorted for the regular round and its paperwork, and a dedicated route optimiser for one-off delivery days. You can also try our free multi-drop route planner with no sign-up, which gives a good order for up to 60 stops.

What RoundSorted doesn't do

So you can compare fairly, here's what RoundSorted does not do today:

  • No time windows, van capacity limits or multi-driver route balancing. Each round is ordered for one van.
  • No live GPS tracking of drivers for the office, and no ETA texts or emails to customers.
  • No native iPhone or Android app. Drivers and customers use web pages on their phones.
  • No Direct Debit, and no Xero or QuickBooks sync. You enter payments in your accounts as you do now.
  • No Shopify connection or public API.
  • UK addresses only.

Frequently asked questions

Is RoundSorted a replacement for Routific?

Not exactly. Routific is a route optimisation and delivery tool. RoundSorted is for small UK businesses with regular customers: it keeps standing orders, gives customers a link to change their order, and makes the daily load list, route and invoices. If time windows, van capacities or a Shopify feed matter most to you, Routific may be the better fit.

How do the prices compare?

As listed on Routific's pricing page in October 2026: free up to 100 orders a month, then $150 a month flat for up to 1,000 orders, with per-order pricing above that. RoundSorted is free for up to 5 customers, £29 a month for one van with unlimited customers, or £59 a month for up to five vans. Check Routific's site for their latest prices.

Does RoundSorted plan routes with time windows?

No. RoundSorted orders each van's drops by real road driving time, and you can move stops by hand (a café that opens at 7am, say). If you need delivery windows respected automatically, a dedicated route optimiser like Routific does that.

Can I try RoundSorted without paying?

Yes. The Free plan covers up to 5 customers on one round with no card needed, and the multi-drop route planner on our website is free for anyone, with no sign-up.
