Looking at Spoke (formerly Circuit)? How RoundSorted compares

Spoke, the delivery software previously called Circuit, makes a popular route planner app for drivers and a dispatch platform for delivery teams. RoundSorted is a different kind of product: it keeps your regular customers and their standing orders, then builds each day's load list, route and invoices. Here's a fair side-by-side.

Who Spoke (formerly Circuit) is great for

Circuit is now called Spoke: the old getcircuit.com address forwards to spoke.com, and the company behind it is listed on its site as Circuit Routing Limited. It offers two main products, and both are good at what they're built for.

Spoke Route Planner, for individual drivers

  • A polished phone app for iPhone and Android, with Android Auto and CarPlay. Add stops by spreadsheet, voice or camera, and it works out the order.
  • Flexible ordering. Its FAQ lists clustering stops, making urgent stops next, fixing stops at the start or end, re-optimising mid-route, or skipping optimisation altogether.
  • Navigation your way. Built-in Google navigation, or switch to Apple Maps, Waze, HERE WeGo or Sygic.
  • A free plan with all features on routes up to 10 stops, and paid plans for unlimited stops. Saved routes also work offline.

Spoke Dispatch, for delivery teams

  • Built for couriers running many drivers: multi-driver routes, live tracking, customer SMS and email notifications, tracking pages and proof of delivery (signature, photos, geotags).
  • Driver tools such as barcode and address-label scanning and load checks.
  • Integrations including an API, webhooks, Zapier and Shopify.

If you're a multi-drop or parcel driver with different addresses every day, the Route Planner app is hard to beat for the price. If you run a courier operation, Dispatch is designed for exactly that.

When RoundSorted fits better, and when it doesn't

Spoke is about getting a list of stops driven quickly, for one driver or a whole courier team. RoundSorted is about running a round of regular customers: remembering who has what each week, letting them change it, telling you what to load, putting the drops in a good order, and invoicing for what was delivered.

RoundSorted is likely to suit you better if most of these are true:

  • You run 1 to 5 vans for your own business, and most drops are the same customers each week: a wholesale bakery round, a firewood or water cooler round, a milk or egg round, a window cleaning round.
  • Before you can drive, you have to work out who's due today and what to load, and that currently means a notebook, a spreadsheet or memory.
  • Customers ring or text with changes, and you'd like them to change their own order through a link before your cut-off.
  • You also send invoices for those drops and want card payments to land in your own Stripe account.

Spoke is likely to suit you better if you deliver for other people (parcels, couriers), your stops are new every day, you want a native app with offline routes and CarPlay or Android Auto, or you need customer tracking texts and signature capture. A route planner app and RoundSorted can also sit side by side. If you just want a quick route now, our free multi-drop route planner takes up to 60 UK stops with no sign-up and can send the route to your phone.

What RoundSorted doesn't do

So you can compare fairly, here's what RoundSorted does not do today:

  • No native iPhone or Android app, no CarPlay or Android Auto, and no offline mode. Drivers use a web page on their phone and Google Maps for directions.
  • No time windows, van capacity limits, barcode scanning or signature capture.
  • No live GPS tracking for the office, and no ETA texts or tracking pages for customers.
  • No Direct Debit, and no Xero or QuickBooks sync.
  • No Shopify connection or public API.
  • UK addresses only.

Frequently asked questions

Is Spoke the same as Circuit?

Yes. Circuit's route planner and team products now go by Spoke: getcircuit.com forwards to spoke.com, and the company is listed on Spoke's site as Circuit Routing Limited. The driver app is now called Spoke Route Planner, and the team product is Spoke Dispatch.

How do the prices compare?

As listed on Spoke's pricing pages in October 2026: Spoke Route Planner is free for routes up to 10 stops, then £9.99 or £19.99 a month in the UK. Spoke Dispatch starts at $125 a month. RoundSorted is free for up to 5 customers, £29 a month for one van with unlimited customers, or £59 a month for up to five vans. Check Spoke's site for their latest prices.

Do my drivers need to install an app for RoundSorted?

No. Drivers log in on a web page on their phone, see the day's drops in order and tap Take me there to open Google Maps. That keeps things simple, but it also means there's no offline mode or CarPlay or Android Auto support, which the Spoke app has.

Can I keep using a route planner app with RoundSorted?

Yes. Some people use RoundSorted for the regular round (standing orders, the load list, customer changes and invoices) and a route planner app for one-off or extra delivery days. Nothing stops you using both.
